A question for the forum regarding checking plumbing lines for a possible leak. My parents have an inground vinyl pool about 18'x30' approximately 30,000 gallons ~30 years old. Two returns, main drain which ties into the skimmer before the single plumbing line to the pump.

The water level yesterday was quite low especially considering we have had such a wet summer (I've had to drain water several times this season in my pool).

We will be closing at the end of the month, and clearing the lines anyway so I thought we could do a pressure check on them to make sure it's not a plumbing issue. It's easy enough to isolate each branch (though both returns are tied together underground), unfortunately checking the main drain would involve some cold water diving.

Any suggestions on a pressure gauge setup to check the lines?
