Check valve placement

I have a fairly simple system - pump, booster, DE filter - that I'm getting ready to upgrade as I replace the old pump. I have a check valve as well as a Jandy two-way valve. In terms of winterization and an eye to possibly a future upgrade to salt, where would the best place to put the check valve be? I don't want it to interfere with blowing out the pipes for winter.

Why do you need a check valve? You don't need one for the SWG if that is what you were thinking.

I'm putting in a flow meter and it doubles as a check valve....

You can put it anywhere really when you winterize you blow air from pump towards pool. If you put it in before pump that's when it's a pain because you cant blow back towards drains/skimmers

OK. So just not on the suction side of the pump.

No unless you have one there already. Sometimes pools are much lower than equipment and they are on suction
