I was just looking at my plumbing for my pool that was built at the end of last summer. The check valve right before the pump looks to be oriented 90deg from what I would expect.
Does this look wrong to anyone? The arrow on the valve is pointed to the right instead of up towards the pump
Looks like it might be a serviceable check valve like this at Amazon.com. Because it has a lid, the orientation of the lid is not necessarily indicative of actual performance. If the pool runs and the lid doesn't leak, that part is working as intended.
