Change 2” intake to 2.5”?

So I bought the wrong pump and didn’t realize it until I’ve already cranked enough bolts on it to no longer be marked as “in new condition.” The pump has a 2” intake whereas my previous pump (and current hoses/fittings) had a 2 1/2” intake.

Is there anything I can do to fix this issue, is there a fitting that can increase it to the right size without causing pump issues?

Pictures would be extremely helpful but until then a 2" to 2.5" bushing would work just fine.
