According to recommendations for a vinyl pool:
FC = 4
pH = 7.5
TA = 70
CYA = 75
Salt = 3200
and CH = 0 <-- don't add

You will get a CSI of around -2.89.
My question is "Will this do harm to the SWG?" Does CSI matter in a vinyl pool even with a SWG?

I have no heater. Only the pump, Cartridge filter, and SWG.

It will not harm the SWCG.

You may want to get 50 -100 ppm CH in the water due to foaming.

So basically with a pool with a vinyl liner, there is no reason to track CSI since you will never raise your CH above 100ppm. Is this correct?

Correct. If you are able to maintain your pool water within TFP recommended levels for your pool type, in general, there is no need to calculate and track CSI.
