Hey, I've been slacking on testing my water lately. When I did it weekly, it seemed like every time I tested I got the same results. I've just been adding salt/CYA (lots of rain) when necessary and acid every few days. Only really been checking pH and FC regularly.
Saltwater plaster pool (pool math should be in sig, FC-3.5, pH-7.5, TA-50, CYA-70, CH-225, Salt-3000, CSI -0.74, temp 86).
Just tested everything for the first time in awhile. My CH is 225 and TA 50. My testing chemicals are a couple of years old, I'm ordering some more today. Should I wait and test again with new chemicals or go ahead and do something about CH/TA?
Thanks,
Chris

If you have had to add salt and CYA due to rain, then the CH is also lower because of that.
Assuming your fill water is low in CH and you also do not use much fill water (due to rain), I would suggest adding some calcium. 75 to 100 ppm CH worth.
