Century VGreen EVO VS Pump Motor & Aqualink

I have a EVQ225 motor that I'm connecting to a Jandy Aqualink RS-8 Combo, REVT.2. The motor works as designed if it's not connected to the Aqualink. I followed the directions in the Century manual to use Century Connect. I placed both dip switches on the motor (#3 & 4) in the On position. I powered the pump on (without it being connected to the Aqualink). Then i powered the pump and the Aqualink down. Connected them via the RS485 connection. I double checked the wiring connections on both ends. I also ensured I followed the wiring diagram meaning red to red, black to black, etc. The only dipswitch on the Aqualink panel set to On is dipswitch 1. If I use the Aqulink to turn on the pump, the green light on the pump motor comes on but the motor never starts. Also, when I go into the iAqualink dashboard setting to configure the pump I don't see the motor as an option in the variable speed settings and I only see the iAqualink WiFi4 in the RS485 Devices view (in the help menu)

I've spent 3 hours searching the forums and the internet but I can't find any solutions. Does anyone have any insights or solutions? I've attached the relevant manuals. thx

What do you show on the VSP Setup page?

@MSchutzer may have ideas.

Glad we could help. Post here if you need more help with the pump.

Glad you have it figured out. Just FYI, the communication between the Aqualink RS and its RS-485 peripherals is via a poll, response protocol. The VSP motor must see a poll before it can respond back.

Once you tell the RS that a VSP pump is out there (via the VSP setup page) the RS begins polling the motor’s address, and then the Century Connect can see the polling and figure out what system it is attached to.
