I wanted to confirm that when you are conducting the CC Taylor reagent test that the shade of pink you will get is very very faint pink when you add the drop(s). its barely "not clear"?

Would anyone be willing to post a picture for reference of what you should be looking at?

Ideally it never turns pink at all. If it turns a little pink it means you have some amount of CC which you don’t want. It’s the FC test that you want lots of pink.
 
Understood. But if you have any leaves in your pool or skimmer , isn’t it likely that you will get a little pink after 1 drop of the reagent?
Yes, it’s totally normal to have 0.5CC or less which is one drop of reagent to make it go clear again. Just don’t think something is wrong if it doesn’t turn pink at all.
