1996 caretaker99 leaf trapper not sucking leaves, everything else seems to be functioning properly. psi is fine, water to the venturi is running ok. occasionally there is bubbles coming out of the return from the leaf trapper and sometimes water is above the lid of the leaf trapper.

try turning your return valve to direct all the water flow through that system and maximize the venturi suction. the force of the water flow may clear out any stuck debris? also check the debris basket to see if its full.
