I want to move my equipment about 24 inches to clear a path for storing my grill. Straight back toward the electrical junction with no heater involved, same pad only cutting 12 inches of the plumbing side. The current configuration/design has no issues, the only change being made is a to all six that are to be extended 24 inches before the stub up to the valves. Considering I need to sever the main drain suction line prior to the valve what is the correct procedure to keep thousands of gallons of water at bay? Is it as simple as snorkeling down to put a bladder in the drain opening and a glued cap at the cut location while work is done? thanks
