Does it matter how the wires and leads are connected to a capacitor when reinstalling on a pump? I didn’t take a picture before I disconnected, but I don’t know if that would’ve even mattered. Theres no color coding or anything...

One wire to one post and the other wire to the other post. There is no polarity or direction to a capacitor.
How many wires went to the capacitor and what color are they?

It's just two leads and two connectors. So for my case, I believe CJadamec answered it, just one lead to one connector and the other to the other, easy peezy. Thanks for the help!
