Can't get filter to prime

Welcome to TFP! :wave: If you have the time and feel like it, you can try to open it enough to see if the impeller or motor shaft will spin. Perhaps it's slightly stuck (rusted) from sitting for a few months. But if that doesn't work, unfortunately, those Intex pumps are pretty much use & toss. Not a lot of repair work you can do to it.
We are having trouble getting our pool running. We cannot get our filter to prime. I replaced multiple gaskets and lubed per directions. Any advice would be MOST appreciated!! We live in New Braunfels.
 
Hey neighbor. Welcome! :wave: We are quite close to each other. Earlier I replied to your post (I think) but it was more about no sound or sign of life at all from an Intex pump. This post is about no prime. :scratch: Well, let's start from the beginning. How about posting some pics of your equipment pad, the pool, and how your plumbing lines/hoses are connected. As many pics as you need to so we can see everything. Let's start there.
