I've been a pool owner for 3 short yrs now. However when we bought the house...and the thousands of problems that came with it, the pool was no different.

I've always wanted a pool and we even dropped $1,000 last yr replacing the 17 yr old liner and all the sand as well as the skimmer parts inside and out of the pool.

But frankly after 3 summers of watching our kids swimming less and less, and having our light bill jump $150-200 all summer.....this really sucks because I'm a bus driver, and I dont get paid during the summer!!

I'm. just. Done.

So this is where I need help. I have no idea how much to sell this bad boy for. The only issue the pool has now is the housing for the return is cracked, so it will not hold the directional nozzle.

So what are your thoughts?? The metal she'll is 17 yrs old but in great shape. I do not know the age of the sand filter or pump
I'm pretty sure it's 30 ft across..and of course I'll do final mesurements before I list. And it's 4 ft deep

That's what I have seen too. You might be able to get someone to throw in some grass seed and fix the lawn too since the relatively new liner might still be usable after being moved. If you are handy you could possibly just remove the pool yourself and sell the pump, skimmer, and filter. Those should still have some value.

I helped my brother in law get rid of his above ground pool years ago. We took all the metal to a scrap yard and got a few hundred bucks for it, minus the cost of a UHaul rental. I don't know what he did with the equipment, but you should be able to get a few bucks for it on Craigslist or FB Marketplace.
