Can you identify these plugs?

I have two plugs from the last time my pool was closed. One I’m sure goes to the return lines to seal them. The other one was for a blow out pipe. They both have the same number but the difference is that one has a “2” and the other has a “4”. I’m sure the “2” is a standard 1.5 inch plug and was used for the returns. I’m not sure what the “4” is an I can’t find one on line. They don’t show a numerical code. Only the 1.5 inch plugs (the “2’s”) come up. But even those don’t show/mention the “2”. I’m trying to buy an extra “4”.

As far as I can tell from searching they are all SP-1022_C 1.5 inch plugs.. Is the #4 one the same as #2?

No, it’s not the same. It seems like it has different threads. It is also a little bigger. I’m sure I can match it at a pool store or plumbing store but I was trying to get my supplies ready to close and obviously, it’s easier to do, if possible, on line.

Can you show both sides?

The 2 and 4 are probably the plant numbers where the plug was made.

The "W" means white.

They should be the same plug.

Get a 1.5" female thread fitting to screw the plugs into to see if they feel the same.

They both look exactly the same with the two bars running the width of the plug. No markings. I’ll look at them better tomorrow, but after my first look, I didn’t think they were the same. I think the one with a ”4” is two inches. I’ll measure it. Thanks for the link.

I think that they are the same.

They are not going to make two different parts with the same part number.

The 2 and 4 probably identity which city the plug was made in.
I looked at them this afternoon and I’m embarrassed to say that they are all the same plug. I could have sworn that the “2” was different from the “4” when I matched them up yesterday. Not only are they the same, one on the plugs is a “3”. So not sure what that designates, but city or plant, etc. seem likely. Oh well, on to buying some spares for closing the pool preparation. Thanks and sorry.
