Hi guys. Getting a new liner this season. This kink has been in the wall by the skimmer for a few years. No issues with leaking or anything. Do you think this can be banged out with a mallet? Having someone come out to look at it this week for the liner replacement and wanted a few opinions.
Can this dent be hammered out when my new liner is put in?

A paint roller on the inside going side to side will probably smooth it, but once creased, the wall is compromised forever.
The finish on the wall is cracked at the creases on the left side and rust will set in sooner that it would have.

I wasn’t sure if it could be smoothed out or if maybe the panel could be replaced. It’s been like this for over 2 years now. Thank you!
