Why does the R-0009 Reagent (used for the TA test (TF-Pro kit)) need to have the tip wiped after each drop, according to the instructions?

I'm a curious type, so just wondering why. I'm assuming there's a valid reason and that somebody isn't saying "watch what we can make em' do"! :)

When the reagent is new, the bottle tip can build up a static charge. This static charge can cause the drop to not fully form and results in a smaller drop size. Smaller drop size results in an inaccurate reading. The static charge usually goes away after several tests.

Very good, thank you!!
