Can I use regular Attic Radiant Barrier on my pool surface to reflect heat?

I see a bunch of products designed to reflect solar heat to keep your pool water cooler. Can I use attic radiant barrier since it seems to be more cost effective? Maybe tied at corner at the deck surface not touching the water or maybe laying it on the water itself? If on the water will it increase the metals in my pool? I believe they're aluminum.
Has anyone tried this?

Cutting off evaporation will make the pool water warmer.
