I'd like to leave a kreepy crawly prowler in the water (I slipped it under the cover) for a few weeks until the leaves are down. Any reason not to do this?
None that I can see although I've heard rumor that once the water gets too cold the lubricant for the <mystery parts> may thicken up and not work so well.
I keep mine in most of the time and know others that do also. As long as you can get it out to empty frequently, I don't see a problem.
