I have put together a couple of evaporative chillers. We live in Texas and when it goes over 95, the pool will get too hot and may not cool down over nite. Essentially, you get run away heat. So, I made these homemade chillers out of PVC and they work OK. Well, I want to get more pressure and distance out of them so I am considering changing out the eyeballs in the remaining inlets and drop them from 3/4" (what they are now) to 3/8". Is that going to potentially jump my PSI too high on the filter or anything?
PS: I have also reduced the size and number of holes in my homemade chillers but didn't get much out of it. Would like to get more pressure on them. That's why I'm thinking to reduce the size of the holes on my inlet eyeballs. Just wondering if this could affect my pump.
