Can Hayward heat pump be set to only heat?

I have a new Hayward heat pump, the round one, and it only has an on/off button and temp up or down buttons. Can it only be set to heat? For example I set it to 82 so it holds that overnight but if the water gets to 83 is automatically starts cooling.

Can it be set only to heat? Thanks

There should be a way to turn off the cooling on the control panel.

What specific model number HP is it?

Hayward makes it hard to find the manual without the model number

Also post a pic of the heater. It may help identify it.

That seems to be an orphan product that Hayward does not show on its website and does not have a manual for it online.

You can try calling Hayward Support and see if someone can help you.

Or look through the control panel settings for a place to disable the COOL function.

I start pushing buttons and figured it out. Hold temp up and down at the same time and it allows you to switch between auto, heat, and cool.
