Calcium Hardness

I have an above ground pool and I'm confused about Ch. it was 200 at the beginning of the season which was within range. Now it's 160. Do I add anything? I've read in a vinyl pool it's not something to worry about. But just wanted to check.

You do not need to ever add calcium to a vinyl lined pool, unless you have a heater which requires it.

You don't list where you live (please add that) but some areas of the southwest and west have very hard water, and high evaporation rates which concentrate the calcium in the water. Its something they deal with.

Your pool is fine :)
