Hello all ... I have had an excellent CSI and been balancing my water with TFP methods since last August . I recently in the last month have used acid to get the calcium deposits off my spa waterfall and they reappeared fairly fast ( with in a couple of weeks ) Any advice ?

I see efflorescence which is caused by moisture behind the tile grout pushing calcium to the forefront. A different problem than what you expected.

Try some dilute 3:1 Water to Muriatic acid and see if that works to help scrub it off.

Thanks Maddie ... previously I used straight MA in a spray bottle and it fizzed right off but I guess the diluted solution would be easier on the stone/mortar and safer ? 😉Do you know what I need to do to prevent it ... or is it even possible ?
