Hello, I'll soon get a heat pump heater installed. I have an 8' x 10' utility shed beside the fresh water pool that contains the filter and all gear. The filter is along a wall and the heater will be right on the other side of the wall. There will be about a 4' run between the filter, through the wall and to the heater. I understand you can choose not to install a bypass initially, but rather do it only if and when a situation arises wherein I need to run the filter without water passing through the pump. If so, should the initial plumbing be planned to be able to add the bypass configuration inside or outside the building?
