Buying Test Kit before Pool is done. Salt Water Question

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to purchase my test kit since I am about a week or two away from plaster and getting ready to fill it. I have been busy and forgot to order my kit. I am going to get the TF-100 kit but had a question.

I am going to be running chlorine for the first year but paid for a SWG system that I will drop in the cell after the 1 year warranty is over to avoid issues with the builder.

The question I have is, should I just buy the normal kit right now? Then buy Salt water strips etc later? I wasn't sure that having the drops, or strips would expire being kept for a year and not used.

You can get the TF-100 now and add the K-1766 salt kit later. The K-1766 is a drop based test and will serve you better than the salt test strips.
