Buying radiant oval

We're purchasing a radiant 16x32 foot oval with walk in steps this week. Before we finalize the sale I had a few questions.
1. Which pump would you recommend?
2. Would you recommend going with the radiant LED light or another brand?

We're doing the install ourselves, completely in the ground. We're open to whatever advice you have!

I would get a 2 speed pump. It saves you on the power bills as you will run it on low speed most of the time. The only time you will run it on high is when you use the cleaner.

I am not up on the lights. I wonder if you do a search in the white box at the top of this page if you will get any hits? That only searches TFP so it should be of some help for you.

Absolutely a two speed pump.
We went overboard a bit with the Pentair variable flow pump, but it chugs away at about 130 watts at 18GPM. Electric bill is about 60 KWhours a month higher, so what, $10 a month? At that rate the VF pump will pay for itself.
