Buttress ripped away

18x33 above ground pool...17,800gallons. about 15years old.

seems there were 2 holes in liner (right in front of this buttress support). the Buttress actually "moved away" from pool wall, 6 inches. I patched the 2 holes to stop water from leaking. Pool is currently about 1/3 full. I was thinking about replacing liner anyways (many small patches, pin holes over on the other side of the pool)...always seemed to be a problem area, holes/divots in sand.

thinking of a P25 liner and gorilla pad over sand (this is the 2nd liner in this pool)

besides getting new top buckle...

-is this a simple fix (plan on having a pool company install new liner and repair)
-thoughts on gorilla pad?
-should I do this now? or wait til spring...location: NJ

thanks for any thoughts/input

Will the liner and pool survive through the winter if left as is?

yikes! the wall in that first image looks really bad. maybe it is just the picture? but for me, a 15 year old pool that has already had one liner replacement...I would probably be thinking about a whole new pool. can you even get the replacement part(s) you need?
