Busted Intellichlor IC40 - Alternatives?

It appears condensation/water worked its way under the IC40 panel an eventually shorted something. I have the IC40 paired to an Intellicenter. Am I stuck getting another intellichlor unit or are there other alternatives that will work with the Intellicenter?

I got barely 2- years out of the IC-40. I think adding liquid chlorine woulda been cheaper over that time frame.

Discount salt pools sells a generic 'apex40' (or 60) that is a drop in replacement.

Your failure has happened before but it's very rare. I'd play the odds on another one myself.

Talk to Pentair.. they are likely to replace it, since it is really their design fault...
