I just planted a Dwarf burning bush behind pool deck, which puts it 8 ft from the pool wall, anybody have knowledge if this would be too close? I tried search for root system for these and can not find info on that. Suppose to grow 6 ft tall, so I expect it to grow to 8-10 ft. After I planted I am starting to second guess my location.

Lower right corner.
I did find out while trying to get info on the shrub / bush that certain burning bush plants have been banned in many states for being invasive.
Not sure if this version is included since its a slow grower and tag size height to get to 6ft although I have seen most comments state that they grow 8-10 ft.
Yes , the tag says what you stated, cant remember that 3 worded name except "compactus"

You will be fine with the placement. At mature size, the foilage will just be beginning to encroach on your deck, but this is a planing that is easily manageable through pruning. should pose no structural issues to your deck, posts, etc.

Thanks for the input, I did space it a ways from deck to mow easier and for spread when mature.
I always trim shrubs to a ball or square every year.
I was wondering about the root system creeping towards liner.
I have always thought trees have roots as wide as the foliage spreads? and wondered about shrubs the same way.
