Burning eyes

This is the 3rd summer I’ve had my pool. This is the first year I’ve tested my chemicals completely on my own. Today it was irritating my eyes just a little, making them burn. I have a TF-100 kit. Any ideas what my problem might be ?

Burning eyes can be CC, low pH, or sunscreen in your eyes.

Did the pool give off a smell that you would call 'chlorine'? That is CC.

Doesn’t really have a smell at all. The CC test barely turns pink at all. It wouldn’t even take a full drop to turn it back clear on the test. I would say maybe a half a drop would do it. Would the PH level maybe not be high enough?

The pH looks fine. Let it come up with aeration and only drop to 7.6 if it hits 8

Tears have a ph of 6.5-7.5 with a mean of 7. So your chems levels are great. My guess is with Marty, sunscreen lotion.
