Building a spillover fountain

Hello, I’m getting a quote on a fountain, and I’d like to research and purchase the materials myself. Are there any materials I should avoid because I have saltwater? Im hoping to use a 4’ wide metal spillover, but maybe that’s not a good idea because of rust? I’m researching products and I’m overwhelmed. I’d like it to be glass tile surround. Thank you

A metal spillover will likely leach metals into the water. Use pool rated stone or tile. Basically some materials as used in pool construction.
