Brushes for pebble finish

Hi,
I have an IG 22,000 gal. pool with NPT StoneScapes mini pebble plaster finish. Are wire brushes safe to use on this mini pebble finish, or should I stick with nylon? This product looks pretty cool, anyone tried it or have another favorite brush you would recommend?

How old is the finish? Fresh finishes need to stick with nylon the first year. The wall whale is a very efficient brush and would be a good choice for any pool.

The pool is new this year, filled with water on 3 May 2019. I have a Dolphin robotic vacuum and still have pebbles shedding and being sucked into it each time I run it.

I would definately stick with nylon then. Honestly you should only use a wire brush for stubborn black algae spots, and if you maintain your FC levels you should not develop that problem. Im not sure when the pebbles should stop shedding so you may want to check with your builder. I'll ask a couple of experts for their opinion. @JamesW , @jimmythegreek

Absolutely agree with the Wall Whale! Made a big difference on my pebble surface and am using with a nylon brush head.
