Bromine or chlorine for Mikvah?

Are you referring to a mikvah in particular or spas in general?
Bromine. We are primarily a chlorine based pool forum. Spas are a natural off shoot of that, but not everyone has one. Most use chlorine there too because they know it already so it's familiar. Some do use bromine but it may take a bit for them to come around. Hang tight. :)

I am quite familiar with chlorine myself and follow the TFP method with my own pool. I am wondering about bromine for a mikvah in particular, being as that seems to most common.

Thanks, I thought you meant some use bromine and it takes them a while to come around to using chlorine
That too, now that you mention it. I had a bromine tub and couldn't figure it out. I sold it not too long after finding TFP and hadn't learned these ways yet. Things would have been so much simpler post TFP and switching to chlorine.

Hmmm, what is your definition of living water? There is a collection of rainwater but once it is collected it is not constantly replenished.

You just need to find a fresh underground spring and build your mikvah over it. Then the water can simply overflow your tub … just make sure you get zoning approval for it. I hear the local mashgiach can be pretty tough to please … ☺️
