Broken glass in pool

I, um, accidentally shattered a drinking glass right next to my pool, and some fragments went into the water.

I already fished out all the visible fragments by hand. Now I'm just concerned about the micro fragments.

Is it safe to vacuum the pool as normal? Do micro fragments of glass pose any danger to pool equipment? (I'm talking about shards that are small enough to make it through the baskets and probably into the filter.) Any alternate things I should be doing?

And get some plastic cups. No glass by the pool :hammer:

Better yet, double-walled stainless. Virtually indestructible AND keeps your beverages cold in the sun. I have shaker pints for my beer, stemless wine glasses for the wife, small tumblers for cocktails, and large tumblers for water/soda. Highly recommended.

Second on this:DI am sure dw has stock in Tervis tumblers:(

We got a whole set of high quality plasticware for the pool most of which you'd never know isn't glass. The kids all use it but it is hard to get the ADULTS to use it! Very annoying to see an adult with a glass wine glass when we expect the kids to use the plastic. Hardest thing is not bringing beer bottles to the pool deck but slowly we are adjusting to that as well.
