Broken air value Hayward ec50 filter help! Broke the top off and can’t get the screw part out to replace it. Any suggestions?

Get a small, flat head screwdriver, heat it up and push it into the center of the screw being careful not to hit the threads.

Give it a minute to cool and unscrew.

OK I did get it out thank you so much do you happen to know of anything I could put in there until my new part arrives

The threads probably match a standard screw thread.

I suspect that, if you went to the hardware store, you would probably be able to find a screw with the same thread.

A little teflon should make it seal. Not too tight as the plastic can crack.

Also, the part should be available at any local pool store.
