We have been so careful in the installation but the parts are not marked and the photos in the installation guide are outdated and general for ALL the pools ( for many years) The photos showed a thin bottom rail so we used what looked like the bottom rail in the pictures/ instructions. We have already installed our wall and movedon to what looked like the "top" rail in these outdated and general photos. But it isn't allowing us to fit it together with the top rail fittings. So, we called the pool company and when we sent them our video, they said we had the top on the bottom and the bottom on the top. They said it has happened before and it would be fine to just buy and use another top rail, but I am wondering if that is really okay to leave the thin top rail for the bottom? I cannot imagine this is okay. Has anyone heard if you can use any rail on either?
