Borderless liner downsides?

We are getting a new liner installed since we have to have some repairs. Thinking of going with a GLI no border liner. Are there any downsides to this? Will fading and water lines be more present? Below is a pic of our current liner. Thinking of going full GLI Eclipse Amber which is our current floor color.

We went borderless both times. There was no noticeable line 8.5 years later on the old pool when we moved.

IMO it's alot cleaner of a look. We don't have tile and trying to make it look like we do is tacky. And it won't look like it anyway.
