Why would my borates be rising? I started around 30 and used the app to figure how much to add to get to 40. After a few weeks it appeared to drop to about 35, so I recomputed and added more Mule team borax. It went to 45-50. 3 weeks later I checked it and is was nearing 100. Now, 2 more weeks and it appears to be above 100 (highest reading on strip from TFT) It’s been excessively hot here with heat indexes around 105-115 if that makes any difference. Because of this I’ve had to add water to pool 3 times in 5 weeks., from almost where tile meets gunite up to 1/2 or above skimmer inlet.
