Booster pump spraying water; need pump running for freeze protection

Hello. I am in Texas weathering our “freeze” and the pool pump has been running in freeze protection mode. I went outside and noticed that the water level was way down. Went to the equipment pad and the Polaris booster was spraying water everywhere (annoying bc I don’t even use the thing). I am refilling the pool now but need the pump running to protect the equipment from the freeze. Is this possible to completely bypass the Polaris booster? If so, I have no idea which valve to turn to accomplish this (my ideas are circled). Any thoughts on the best way to proceed? It’s supposed to be below 30 until early afternoon tomorrow so want to make it until then if possible …

You need to disconnect the flexible hose running into the front of the Polaris pump (yellow dot) and connect it to the pipe running into the ground (green dot) to bypass the pump.

Look in the Polaris manual for how those quick disconnect fittings work.

Turning the valve you circled on the left will stop water flow to the leaking pump but also to the pool. Which is not what you want. Closed valves will freeze.
