Boost Mode hardly ever works on Pentair Home App

Anyone else notice that putting your intellichlor into boost mode using the Pentair home app hardly ever works?

I can adjust the % of output at will but going into boost mode it will accept that command maybe once out of every 10 tries i make.

I can't help with the app issue, but I have three saltwater pools that are in total over 25 years old.. I have never, ever used the boost mode.

If you find that you have to use boost often then something is wrong.

I have a leak and run water hose nearly an hour a day.....but ya would like to know why it doesnt work

I agree, no doubt that the app should work...

I had a problem with ScreenLogic not displaying the weather correctly.. I sent Pentair an e-mail and they said they would look into it.. Nothing happened for a a couple of months, but then, it started working again.. Have no idea if my e-mail led to a fix or not, but it was worth the effort either way.

If you find that you have to use boost often then something is wrong

I loved mine. I’d hit it the evening before a get together and not have to remember to turn it down after the party.

Many times the pool tested good for FC but lost its sparkle and i’d hit boost mode and come home the next day from work with the sparkle back, Again not needing to remember to turn it down.

I do agree however that many people will use it to try and make up for inattention to the pool and for that it will not perform any miracles.

If a monster rainstorm comes through I'd set it to boost for a few hours then go back to normal....I agree its a great feature
