Bonding spa water separately from pool water?

Our current plan is to bond the pool water with one of the skimmer based solutions. But doesn't the spa water also need to be bonded separate from what you do for the pool water?

We have an attached spa, and while the spa water will sometimes be in contact with the pool water, it won't always be the case. I haven't been able to find any discussion about bonding spa water. With no skimmer in the spa, I suppose we'll have to bond the spa water at the pad.

Does anyone do this, or is this just ignored?

What type of lights will you have? Water is often bonded through the metal pool light which is bonded.

Bonding separately is not a good thing to do. Bonding is to be one bond on everything all together. Anything other then ONE will surely cause issues down the road as difference in potential will develop. So please whatever you end up doing to bond your spa have it on the same bond wire as the pool.

Will definitely have everything bonded together. Was just saying that we need to bond the spa water in addition to bonding the pool water. It seems like some pool/spa combos just bond the pool water and ignore the spa water. That was our plan, but after thinking about it, we'll bond both at the pad.
