Bonding Hayward Spa Blower 230V 2 HP - No Bonding Nut

I recently installed a new Hayward Spa Blower 230V 2 HP. I noticed there is no bonding nut on the unit. Is bonding this equipment not required since it does not directly touch the water? Thanks for any help or insights.

Welcome to TFP.

The blower is electrically insulated from the pool sitting on a PVC pipe with no water. No bonding required.

Unless: it's within 5' of the water. That's usually not a concern, but it deserves mentioning for future reference.
