Board or Paver for the support legs

After reading through the forum, I found out that it is advisable to add a board or paver under the support bars as it may sink with the weight of the pool. I will be putting up the pool on top of an artificial lawn so I cannot dig to make the board or paver flat to the ground.

I have lot's of Paver which is about 2" thick. If I just put these pavers on the grass and place the support legs on top of the paver, will this bend or push the frame inward? What can be the alternative to make sure that the support leg will not put a dent on the artificial lawn?

Use the pavers and buy 2" foam to put under the pool so the pavers and foam are on the same level, do some searching for cost foam under a pool
