Bleach compared to liquid chlorine

I have a jug of regular household bleach I'm trying to figure out how to raise my pool FC level to 4ppm the calculator is a little confusing to me.
Can you tell me how much regular household bleach to add to raise my 9,000 gallon pool one part per million
The jug does not say anywhere what the percentage is but what I can find on the internet I believe it's 6.25% -8.25%
PS....I just need a starting point and then I can figure it out from there

You need the percentage.

Show the bleach.

I have looked all over the jug and I cannot see it anyway I'll look at it again maybe I'll send some pictures of it

If there's no percentage listed then it's almost always a weak blend, probably around 3%.

I looked again and I do not see anything there is one little spot where it says when using this bleach you need to dilute it first maybe they all say that

Did a quick Google search of this brand and this jug is 3% that is crazy that was a waste of money I'm assuming I could dump this whole gallon in my pool and nothing will really happen

That's why they don't print the percentage on the label.

So you do not know how bad the value is.

In a 10,000 gallon pool a gallon of liquid chlorine will raise the FC ppm by whatever the percentage of the chlorine is.

So you'd get a little over 3 ppm from a gallon.

Any janitorial supplies or farm supply stores near you? Call and ask if they sell bleach/liquid chlorine to the public. If so, ask the percentage.
Walmart might be a bit far to drive, but they have 10% Pool Essentials brand.
