BIRDS! I’m losing my mind.

Hi everyone! For the past week I’ve been chasing birds out of my new gazebo we purchased from Costco. It has a roof and over hang so the entire thing has a ledge birds can build nests under the roof lip to the inside beam. We have a new outdoor sectional under it and the birds are getting mud and poo all over the furniture. I should say, there have been no complete nests or eggs. I have tried the hose, hanging “scare reflective tape”, aluminum foil balls, screaming like a ridiculous mad woman w/ a broom...and now I have my dogs stuffed snake and goose stuck in the corners. I doubt these will last before the next determined robins come and test my will power.
Any suggestions? I honestly don’t know what to do next. Do owls work? And do they have to be mounted on the outside of the structure to prevent birds? Ugh.
 
I've done two things depending on the area. I installed an area netting that is cheap and can be stapled-up under the ceiling of the structure. In my case it was the front porch AND large back patio cover. Or, I use those fake owls from Walmart with rotating heads (at the pool & carport). They don't keep them all away, but they seem to help a little. I keep a fake owl on top of one of my cars (on a cloth) under the carport because they use to go under there a lot as well. Bird poop everywhere. Ugh. It's helped.
