Bird poop on solar cover

Birds like to land and walk on my solar cover. I found poop on it and wasn’t sure how to handle. What’s the consensus, trap that section over pool and hose off?

anyway to prevent the poop?

We find bird Crud on the cover all the time. We just remove the cover and spray it off with the hose when the dang winds aren't blowing like a freaking hurricane (which happens quite a bit in these parts).
