After a slam/shock in an indoor pool can these Bio-Neutralizer tablets (35% Sodium Sulfite) be used to reduce chlorine? Attached is a spec sheet and MSDS. Looking to cut down time instead of waiting for FC to come down from 12ppm. Indoor pool, no CYA, nothing using up any chlorine (FC went down 0.5 in last 24 hrs.).

I think I would add 30ppm of CYA, obviously not for the sun protection purposes, but for the chlorine buffering and making it less harsh on skin, hair, and swimsuits. And then just go swimming

Is there a reason you can't use sodium thiosulfate? It's available at pretty much any pool supply store and since it is a powder it can be measured to lower a specific amount of FC and works almost instantly.
