Big Shoutout to Circupool!

Just bought a Circupool RG45+ and it was easy to install and setup and started making CL day one. Its been installed for about 5 days now and I noticed the last few days that the only button on the panel that works is Menu and Power. I wasn't able to increase the power output or read the average salinity. Cycling power on the unit didn't help but i found that if I toggled the super CL button or winterize button it got it control back. This morning non of those techniques worked and I called Circupool they said it not common but could be key pad but they weren't completely sure but wanted to send me the replacement parts to give it a try. While on the phone the system started magically working again?!?! He said no problem but I still want to send you some parts so you have them at the ready. Even pre assembled so its a really easy swap. No haggle just straight up lets send you parts and get you a good system.

That's just fabulous customer service. Crud happens but its the response that matters. Really happy with my choice.

I really REALLY want to dislike them. Their marketing dept is forever in full scam mode overcharging models then 'upgrading' them for $10. They claim 50% more production for 50% longer, and their sales division (DSP) is set up to look like an independent company that simply recommends Circupool as head and shoulders above the rest.

But member after member reports the SWGs produce as well as the others, if not a little better. And those with issues usually report a real quick fix. I can't dislike them no matter how much I want to. :ROFLMAO:

I’m sure happy with mine, after about a year from install.

Question: I recently cleaned it with 4:1 MA (I know BAD, BAD) but it never “bubbled”. Does this mean it was clean? It didn’t look to have any scale on the panels so now I’m think it didn’t need to be cleaned, right?

Correct. You'd see toothpaste like buildup if there was scaling. If you do ever see buildup, go the gentle routes first. See the cleaning section below.

So I’m thinking about the RJ30 SWG from them to replace an Astral unit that is 7 years old and is currently stuck on no or low salt. I have plenty of salt so that isn’t a problem. My pool is 13600 gallons and sticking with the 2x rule I can get this for $1099 with the $10 bump from the RJ20 system. Good idea or not? 🤷‍♂️

*worth noting for yourself and any future readers, the slightly less than 10% upcharge to the RJ45+ nets 50% more lifespan. The ROI is hardcore in your favor, but that doesn't make the $100 available to pull the trigger, so there is always that.

Sometimes a fan-dang-tastic purchase yesterday makes me settle for fantastic today. :)
