Big problems hoping for a solution.

@Im not a poolman . Good to see you got the CYA down. Use the FC/CYA Levels to determine the proper FC. Don't dump all the chlorine in at once and try to nuke the pool. It will just be wasted chlorine.
Order the test kit and it will help you get through the SLAM prodces and then keep your pool clear all season.

You can buy a gallon at the place that is easiest or cheapest. Use Pool Math (App or link at the bottom of the page). Enter your pool volume, start pH, desired pH and TA. Then Pool Math will calculate it for you.
(about a quart of the 31%)

Thank you !

Please continue the SLAM process. Since you don’t have a way of accurately measuring FC, you don’t know if you are still loosing FC due to organics (algae). Just because it looks a lot better doesn’t mean it’s clear. One of the biggest reasons for returning green pool is stopping too early. Can you post a pic of your brush in the water (deep end if you have one).

Thank you guys for responses and knowledge I going to slam the pool with 10 gal liquid chlorine after dropping the pool 16 inches cya is at 40 ph is 7.8 cal-hard is 250 I’m hoping this get me clear

Hopefully you aren't planning on dumping that in all at once. You're getting mixed information on here but what you want to extract from all of it is to get a reliable test kit then perform the SLAM process - get it up above shock level for your CYA and then maintain at shock level until you pass the 3 criteria. So you will want to add enough liquid chlorine to get to shock level, then add more an hour or two later etc until your pool clears. Dumping in all 10 gallons at once would be a waste.
