Best way to test well water before fill

Hey y'all,

The title says it all. AG pool being installed next week and I would like to test the water before the fill.
Is there a recommended way to 'draw' the water for the testing? By that I mean, should I let the water run for a bit or just pull it from a non filtered tap into a jar?
I am planning on using a Bobby hose to fill the pool but want to have everything I need ready.

Any help or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!

Test it from the faucet you’re going to be using to fill the pool.

Let water run for minute before sampling if you want to be really accurate.

Should I let it run for a bit or just turn it on?

30 seconds is plenty long enough to let it run.

Test for iron as well as the other tests.
