I love it! I see mention of a Polaris fountain... Can't you buy the connector the twist locks into the Polaris connection and then rig the PVC to that? Mine is on a booster pump, so I time it to run in place of the cleaner...

I know it's completely impractical, but I developed a little online calculator to determine how many pounds of ice it would take to cool down your swimming pool to a desired temperature. Just for fun.
I'm bringing this old thread to life because it inspired me! Our pool's been averaging 91 and a little to hot for my taste, so I build one of these. Each arm is threaded, so this allows me to play around with different techniques. It's pretty neat when you get under the water and feel a difference in temperature, and it's already making a difference in our pool temp!
